Tourism in Brazil: Rio Grande do Norte 2nd destination

Tourism in Rio Grande do Norte is experiencing a great moment being currently the second touristic destination in Brazil after Rio de Janeiro.

The state of Rio Grande do Norte in Brazil located in the northeaster region of the country, occupying the north easternmost tip of the South American continent. Because of its geographic position, Rio Grande do Norte has a strategic importance. It has several tourist attractions and is famous for its natural beauty for its historical monuments and buildings, for its beaches and for its cultural and traditional folklore.

Thanks to the efforts of the federal government of Rio Grande do Norte to reduce the cost of kerosene for air transport and an increase for this summer of 300 extra flights within and outside Brazil. Tourism in Rio Grande doPonta_Negra Norte is a sector that generates employment for over 150,000 employees and a turnover of over 2 billion Reais. Tourism for the state of Rio Grande do Norte is experiencing one of the best time in the last 20 years.

The 9 December we had an exclusive interview with the Governor of Rio Grande do Norte Mr. Robinson Faria during his visits in the city of Areia Branca accompanied by Federal deputy Mr. Cunha Souza on the occasion of the signature for extension of fiscal benefits for the salt industry 1st brazilian industrial pole, situated in the city of Areia Branca.
