Tourism in Rio Grande do Norte is experiencing a great moment being currently the second touristic destination in Brazil after Rio de Janeiro.

The state of Rio Grande do Norte in Brazil located in the northeaster region of the country, occupying the north easternmost tip of the South American continent. Because of its geographic position, Rio Grande do Norte has a strategic importance. Thanks to the efforts of the federal government of Rio Grande do Norte to reduce the cost of kerosene for air transport and an increase for this summer of 300 extra flights within and outside Brazil. Tourism in Rio Grande do Norte is a sector that generates employment for over 150,000 employees and a turnover of over 2 billion Reais. Tourism for the state of Rio Grande do Norte is experiencing one of the best time in the last 20 years.
