A place of authentic and millennial charm, away from the Christmas bustle, but immersed in the tranquility of a large park at the foot of the Euganean Hills, where the waters of Europe’s largest thermal basin flow for centuries. Christmas is out of the ordinary at the Terme Preistoriche of Montegrotto Terme (PD), a few kilometers from Padua and Venice. A realm of wellness and relaxation between the elegant historic hotel of the early ‘900 and the warm outdoor pools, where you can relax until midnight.

The salsobromoiodic underground waters of the Terme Preistoriche have been known since Roman times and are unique in the world: from the basins of the Lessini Mountains, in the Vicenza pre-Alps, they reach up to about 3 thousand meters of depth, where for thousands of years they are enriched with mineral salts, to go back to the surface at a temperature of about 85 °.

During the Christmas season, the park is a show of lights and bright sceneries in harmony with the steam and the thermal landscape. It becomes a privileged stage, to have fun after trying the outdoor pools connected to the 2 indoor pools, the 56 whirlpools with and without ozone, the 6 cervical waterfalls, the sauna, the Turkish bath, the Technogym gym. For the Christmas Eve evening, in fact, the Prehistoric Baths organize the second edition of Jazz by the Pool Winter, the winter version of the prestigious summer jazz music festival by the pool, which this year will see in concert, starting at 10.00 pm , the Blubordò, a gospel vocal ensemble consisting of 50 voices. For the guests, the restaurant prepares the dinner of 24 December 2018 with a fish menu (on request also of meat) by the pool, preceded by a tasty aperitif.

To spend Christmas at the Prehistoric Baths, from 23rd to 26th December 2018, the hotel offers full board with use of swimming pool, sauna and turkish bath, and dinner on Christmas Eve including participation in Jazz by the Pool Winter.
