At the impetus of the Brussels Capital-Region and hot on the heels of the overwhelming success of Brusselicious, this year sees VISITBRUSSELS again organising a massive Easter egg Hunt in association with some Brussels municipalities. 300000 eggs, or 3 tons of chocolate are set to be hidden for the picking on 31 March at the following public parks: Brussels Park (Brussels), Heilig-Hart Square (Oudergem), Astrid Park (Anderlecht), Pierre Paulus Park (Sint-Gillis), Tournay-Solvay Park (Watermaal-Bosvoorde), Wolvendael Park (Ukkel), Viaduct Park (Elsene), Armand Steurs Square (Sint-Joost-Ten-Node), Sint-Antonius Place (Vorst).
The Easter egg hunts in the Brussels parks is organised in collaboration with Bel RTL.
This year, the chocolate is set to be supplied by Leonidas, which is celebrating its centenary. One hundred years … a highly notable event that does not come round very often. Which is why Leonidas will be celebrating its centenary throughout the year with creations and surprises aplenty, and that includes taking part in Brussels’ biggest Easter egg hunt to date.
The event is free of charge. No registration required. Just turn up on the day!
