Earthquake hits Ischia island
An earthquake of mgnitude 4 has caused panic and some crumples at Ischia island, in Italy.
There are two thousand displaced people in the island of Ischia in the town of Casamicciola and another 600 in Lacco Ameno. The number was announced by the Head of the Civil Protection Department, Angelo Borrelli. Apart from the tendering arrangements, for the reception of the displaced, it is confident that the various accommodation structures on the island will be used.
Some houses have collapsed in the town of Casamicciola, overwhelming several families. Two dead women: one struck by the mortar of a church, another wounded by the rubble of his home. Two men and two women were found alive under collapsed houses. The injured are 39, one of which is serious. Fear of the many holiday tourists on the island.
