A post-Brexit free trade deal will  be high on the agenda during Prime Minister Theresa May  first visit  to the USA, meeting with President Donald Trump in Washington DC on Friday the 27/01/2017, according to White House press service. Mr Trump’s press secretary Sean Spicer gave details of Mrs May’s visit in his first briefing to journalists at the White House on Saturday. The other issues supposedly to be discussed are Nato, the European Union, defence and Russia.

PM May will be the first foreign leader to meet the new president after his inauguration.
