Jerusalem: EU condolences

“The EU condemns the murder of these four young Israelis, as well as any praise or incitement for terrorist acts. We extend our sincere condolences to the families of the victims and hope that those injured will make a full recovery, – said the statement of  the EEAS spokesperson on attack in Jerusalem.

The truck was used to crush into the crowed in Jerusalme as it happend before in Nice and Berlin. Four Israelis were killed including three young women and one man, and many more injured in what appears to have been a deliberate terror attack by a truck driver on a group of people gathered in the Armon Hanatziv promenade, which is a popolar touristic side to admire the belle vue on Old Town.

All four victims were servicemen, following the officers traineeship. The driver was shot in an attempt to stop the movement of the vechicle, preventing further damages.

“There can be no justification for such a crime: the EU will continue to work with those who seek peace and denounce those who pursue violence and terror”.
