Expo Fellini closes in Singapore

The exhibition Fellini: Circus of light had a happy ending when the co-organizer and professor Heitor Capuzzo did a guided tour in ADM Gallery, Singapore.

The expo, which lasted for three months, was displayed in two galleries: one thanks to a dome presenting Fellini’s films protagonists with to a stunning visual experience and the other showcasing 50 works coming from the collection of Foundation.

Fellini: Circus of Light was curated by NTU Prof. Heitor Capuzzo together with the Foundation’s President Cav. Stéphane Marti, and supported by the Swiss Embassy, the Italian Embassy and the Italian Institute of Culture.

During the event, Mr. Federico Grandesso, Asia representative of the foundation, thanked all the partners and announced that Singaporean Embassy in Brussels is available to organise an event to present such wonderful cultural project next months in the European Capital City. The following event aims to add value to Singapore as cultural exporter and crucial actor in cultural diplomacy.

“I am pleased to have been part of such a cultural project. For the first time in Asia, the exhibition gave the chance, to both university students and Singapore’s visitors, to discover one of the most important maestro of universal cinema”, the Foundation’s President Stéphane Marti said in his message from Switzerland.

Fellini: Circus of light stems from a cooperation agreement made by the Swiss-based Fondation Fellini and Nanyang Technological University (NTU), School of Art, Design and Media. As partnership, it not only plans this exhibition, but it also a Ph.D course dedicated to Fellini’s films, the sharing of Foundation’s digital library and the development of cultural events and internet sites.
