G7 SUMMIT SOON IN BRUSSELS

After the suspension of Russia from the organisation on March 24, 2014 by the other members of the group as a result of its involvement in the Crimea crisis in Ukraine, it has been decided to meet in Brussels in June 2014.

This annual summit will be attended by Heads of state and government of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japon, United Kingdom, United States and presidents of the European Concil and Commission, Herman Van Rompuy and José Manuel Barroso. “It will begin in the evening on the 4th of June and will end in early afternoon on the 5th of June 2014”, said the European Union press release.
