On the occasion of the annual charity dinner of the Order of St. Gabriel
involving the European Consular Corps, Patrick Huart, diplomatic adviserof the Order concluded  this event with a call to vigilance at the occasion of
75th anniversary of the “Kristallnacht”. He wanted to pay  attention
to the need to warn about the resurgence of intolerance and
racial hatred.

He closed his speech by remembering the message of the  “Fathers
Founders of the European Union”, which has allowed us, after the
call of Robert Schuman on May 9th 1950 which culminated in the signing of the
Treaty of Rome of March 25th  1957 to live in peace and security for about 60 years.
