H.R.H. Princess Astrid of Belgium, the minister of foreign affairs Didier Reynders and many businessmen took off from Brussels on sunday for a belgian economic mission to two countries: Angola and South Africa.

The two first days were dedicated to Angola where two importants contracts were signed.

From this wednesday on, the mission continues in South Africa who is, from a long time ago, an important trade partner in Belgium. Importations and exportations with South Africa are quasi equal. While Belgium exports machines, chemical products, metals and trasport material to South Africa, it imports mainly gemstones, trasnport material, mineral products and various goods.

The Ambassador of South Africa to Belgium is also accompaniying the mission.
