LA DOLCE VITA DELIGHTS BRUSSELS
The soul of Federico Fellini hovered in the European capital last September 20 where, for the first time, a wonderful evening in honor of the great “Maestro” of Italian cinema was celebrated.
In the splendid location of the art nouveau Bibliothèque Solvay in Brussels, the event, organized by Edificio group in partnership with the Fellini Foundation for Cinema of Sion in Switzerland, was attended by over five hundred selected guests who were able to see a selection of photos of the famous film “La Dolce Vita“, from the collection of the Swiss Foundation.
In a festive atmosphere the guests were able to admire photos, numerous frames and listen to the music of the famous master.
“Our Swiss foundation is currently the only institution in Italy and abroad to promote the figure of the famous Maestro of Rimini“, emphasizes Stephane Marti, President of the Foundation. Together with its partners, the foundation, wanted to give an evening event to remember this extraordinary master to the city of Brussels. “I also feel that this event is a clear example of how the `Italianness levies always a great success especially at the international level, so I hope to return soon to Brussels with a major exhibition.”, he also said.
Having recently opened a monographic exhibition in Amsterdam, the Foundation is preparing an exhibition at the Ludwig Museum in Koblenz in Germany entitled “Fellini and Art” and a second exposition at the cultural center in Sion in Switzerland entitled “Fellini , an artist of the twentieth century “
The itinerary of the exhibition curated by Fellini Foundation covers two levels of the Solvay Library and will be open to the public for a month starting from September 20 presenting posters and photos of the movie set.
