HAPPY WELCOME IN LIMBURG FOR OUR KING AND QUEEN
As the tradition continues, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde were yesterday for the first time in Limburg.
Prince Philippe and Queen Mathilde were yesterday for the first time in Limburg. An enthousiastic crowd with lots of children waving the belgian flag were there to welcome our new royal couple.
A protocolar part followed. They were welcomed by the province governor Herman Reynders, mayor of Hasselt Hilde Claes and flemish regional minister Jo Vandeurzen
Our royal couple paid also a visit to the University of Hasselt where they were welcomed by law students and others. The king was made honour member of a students association.
They also met the important economical forces of this eastern belgian province.
