What are the Lingeers ? An association of active women from Senegal who open their doors to everyone for cultral, discovery and activities which bring people together and empower them. In wolof, lingeer are the active mothers who care for the community.

Yesterday, in presence of H.E. Ambassador Diop, plenipotentiary ambassador to Belgium and the European Union and Jacques Pivin, mayor of Koekelberg, the ladies who founded the lingeers explained the goals of this new association. They zill organise los of cultural activities (poems, lectures, songs, conferences, gastronomy) and other activities open to the belgian and euopean people in Brussels in order to bring everyone together and learn them to know better the culture of Senegal.
