The countdown has now started in view of the European Road Cycling Junior Championships Under 23 (m/w), that will take place from 18th to 21st July in Czech Republic and that will involve the cities of Fryfek, Mistek and Brno (time trial) as well as Olomouc (road race).
These last days, the UEC technical delegate of the road sector, Mario Minervino, and the UEC General Secretary, Enrico Della Casa, have done the ultimate verification on the circuits that will be awarding a total of eight European titles.
“The technical characteristics of the courses – explained Mario Minervino, gather all the ideal conditions in order to award the title of “European Champion” to complete athletes. They are circuits that not only favor the technical aspect but also meet the requirements of several supporters that will be following the competitions live. Indeed, the public will find all the necessary structures and services to live four days in a fantastic atmosphere, reflecting the top level cycling.
The organizational machine has a notable experience in the high-level events’ organization at the international level (Course de la Paix Under 23 and Czech Cycling Tour); it is for this reason that Jaroslav Vasicek, all his colleagues and the National Cycling Federation of Czech Republic represent a guarantee of seriousness and professionalism, two conditions required for the success of the European Championships.”
