One knows Reims through its cathedral but often one ignores that the town hides many other treasures. While visiting the town, one discovers here and there unexpected richnesses. Reims, bearing the marks of the wars, is also a symbol of peace which offers you an important military collection, reminding the visitors that Reims was a stronghold of resistance during the First World War and is also the town, in which the act of the full surrender was signed on the 7th of May 1945, which ended the Second World War in Europe.

Reims offers a large and varied choice of parks and gardens for the pleasure of its inhabitants and visitors. Some of them cover more than 220 hectares. It concerns small gardens in the neighbourhood as well as large grounds for recreation, open-air physical activities and sites favourable for daydreaming. Colourful, scented, thematic flowerbeds linked to the four seasons honour the ‘4 flowers’ that the national jury awarded the City of Reims. Not far away one can discover some interesting features like ‘les Faux de Verzy’, unusual beech trees which grow in the heart of the Natural Park of la Montagne de Reims.
