BRUSSELS – At the SAS Radisson Blue Palace, Daniel MEYERS and his numerous sponsors and relations in the tennis world launched the “HOPE& SPIRIT” FOUNDATION to back young tennis players (male and female)  in their career and academic achievements around values of study, behavior and tennis.

What former tennis manager and business man Daniel MEYERS launched today is really an incredible acomplishment. Around him and his project he gathered lots of prestigious sponsorsd like BNP PARIBAS FORTIS, TECNIFIBRE, VELUVINS, Champagne BRUNO PAILLARD, the AFT, pro-tennis.be, IBIS BUDGET HOTELS, CARLSON REZIDOR HOTEL GROUP, OVERBOARDER, OXYGENE,  FUN IN BRUSSELS and some artists.

The idea of Daniel MEYERS is to give a technical, academic and spiritual support to young tennis players to allow them to rise in the top 100 ATP ranking. As he stated, many young people try to have a professional carreer as tennismen but fail due to lack of money or lack of financial support. A presence in the tennis world tour costs lot of money for transport, hotel, equpment, and so on. With the support of Overboarder, the young sportsmen will also be sent to the US to play tennis, learn english and stay on university campusses.

Daniel MEYERS is surrounded by a higly qualified team: Dominique MONAMI, top belgian tennis champion is the godmother of the foundation, players and former players as Kristof VLIEGEN, Nicolas WITTOUCK, Eduardo MASSO are also part of the team.

The foundation has also charity goals as philanthropic evenings and dishes for poor people, and so on.

Were also present, Corinne De Permentier MP; Alain Courtois, senator who emphasized the lack of intrest for sports from the belgian politicians; the singer Lio and other artists.

It was a really succesfull launch.
