EXPO RODIN AT CHARLES DE GAULLE AIRPORT.
Aéroports de Paris offers now in Hall M Terminal 2E of aeroport Charles DE GAULLE, a free museum for passengers from the airport.
This unique experience is offered to passengers around the world through this museum which will represent the french heritage.
The first exhibition, “Rodin, Wings of Glory,” in partnership with the Rodin Museum, features 50 original works by the artist whose masterpiece “The Thinke”r, “The Kiss” or “The Age of Bronze” .
The theme of this first exhibition, related to flight, can reveal lesser-known works of Auguste Rodin. For the first time some winged figures are exhibited and a large wing plaster recalls the myth of the conquest of the skies and space, a real challenge for a sculptor.
Aéroports de Paris wanted to be surrounded by the best specialists. Francis Briest, co-president of the auction house Artcurial, with which Aéroports de Paris has initiated the project; Serge Lemoine, former president of the Musée d’Orsay, which is the artistic director of all exposures; Nelson Wilmotte, from Nelson Wilmotte Architects who designed the architecture of the place
The Space Museum is free, free and open from first to last flight. Each year, two thematic exhibitions will be presented to passengers.
