The CCLJ, centre communautaire laïc juif, awards every year the “MENSCH OF THE YEAR”This year four persons were distinguished.

The MENSCH OF THE YEAR is aimed to decorate persons of the jewish community who played a great role for the life and the promotion of the jewish community and the jewish values.

Eliane Sperling and Jacques Bloch do come from Ghent. Brothers Marc and Guy Wolf helped maintaining alive the little jewish community in Liège.

Speeches of the family of the laureates and music animated this sympathetic evening at the centre culturel laïc juif.
