JUSTICE COOPERATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN FRANCE AND BELGIUM

TOURNAI – On monday march 18th 2013,belgian minister of interior Joëlle Milquet and her french collegue Manuel Valls met in Tournai, where a police cooperation centre between both countries is situated.

Both ministers met in Tournai to sign new greements to allow common police patrols between both countries and the right for police of one country and for mixed patrols  to pursue criminals on the territory of the other state. Previous last month, they met in Paris to determine the extent of the agreement which was signed in Tournai on monday. The exchange of informations and databases betweeb both countries will also be strenghtened.

Further both ministers went to Neuville-en-Ferrain in France for a visit to police forces.
