MARCH.10.2013 – It was an important day for Richard FOURNAUX, a top belgian politician who could celebrate the end of a 13 year lasting judicial trial.

Richard FOURNAUX, mayor own the picturesque city of Dinant and today member of the province council of Namur who for a long time retained a seat in the belgian senate and the belgian house of representatives celebrated today in a very emotional ceremony the end of a very very long suffering of 13 years when he was accused of corruption for the grant of the dealership of the  of the casino of his touristic city of Dinant.

The procedure rebounds have been very numerous and led to a criminal case to be held from 2012. The mayor of Dinant won in first instance and won again at the court of appeal where he was for good clear of all charges.

The population of his city gave him a incredible endorsement and they were very numerous to celebrate his judicial victory

Gathering all the people who backed him during this 13 year long very difficult period is for him a way to give his career and his city a new start. He’ll for sure run for elections in 2014, probably for the national house of representatives of Belgium, the national parliament, where he had a seat for 15 years.
