Jan 29th 2013- On january 29th 2013 in the prestigious premises of ING Place Royale in Brussels, a very great exhibition was presented in preview.
The Yves Saint Laurent Exhibition with the presence of Pierre Bergé, the former life partner of Yves Saint-Laurent who also managed the haute couture company of this artist who can be considered as one of the major couturiers of the 21st century.
As Pierre Bergé emphasized, the great idea of YSL was to change the ideas of haute couture only for non-working rich ladies. YSL wanted to create a haute couture affordable for the women of the sixties, the women who worked, had a active life, were at their office, in the train, taking the car. An all-day refined haute couture for the modern woman. The exhibition is exceptional. Conceived with the help of FONDATION PIERRE BERGE-YVES SAINT LAURENT especially for ING BELGIUM, it’s the first time – and probably the only one – this magnificient exhibition takes place for 3 months in Brussels. There are lots of dresses, drawings, personal items of YSL, pictures, souvenirs, movies.
The curator of the exhibition, Miss Muller, a professional exhibitor curator from
Paris made great work with the head of the ING art centre Brussels and their team. We can only advise our readers to book as soon as possible to, visit this great exhibition at world level and book their private visits.
