REGIONAL EXPRESS NETWORK: STILL 12 MORE YEARS TO COME
JAN.30.2013. The REGIONAL EXPRESS NETWORK, a netwrok of local train stations around Brussels to facilitate the travels of communters from and to Brussels did in the beginning to be opened in 2012.
Lots of judicial proceedings, delays in the financing of the projects and other diverse problems will delay the start of the REGIONAL EXPRESS NETWORK with 12 years.
It is a again a sign of the difficulties known to establish great public projects in Belgium.
The cityrail trains using old carriages and being intended to become the future regional express network
