A NEW HOME FOR “LE RIDEAU DE BRUXELLES”
JAN. 28th 2013-Le Rideau de Bruxelles is a famous theater company existing for 70 years.
For a very long period, they were hosted in Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels. Due to a renovation of this place they had to change and were for 3 years “homeless”. Their productions were hosted in different brussels theatres which friendly accepted their colleagues to allow this notorious thater company to continue programming their modern theater productions.
Today, the RIDEAU DE BRUXELLES gathered their friends and the press to announce a great news in presence of Ixelle’s mayor Willy Decourty and alderman for culture Yves de Jonghe d’Ardoye d’Erp. With the help of the city of Ixelles, le RIDEAU DE BRUXELLES is not homeless anymore and they will overtake XL-Theatre whose former manager decided to live southwards to get more sun.
An ambitious program of 2000000€ is foresee for the renovation of the existing theater rooms and fit them to the wishes of LE RIDEAU DE BRUXELLES.
