JAN 26th 2013 – Manet, the Great  Edouard, will be  the star of an exceptional exhibition starting today at the Royal Academy of Arts in London. Manet, a major french painter from the XIXth century (1832-1883) is, some experts contest it,  one of the first and most notorious impressionists.

His first master was benjamin Couture.Edouard Manet died very young at 51 and let more than 400 pictures and pastels after his death.

The exhibition will be a great moment to improve the knowledge we have of this great painter
