Jan 25.2013 – From Liege, where they work, 350 workmen of Arcelor Mittal just took the coach to march on Brussels at the end of this friday morning. They came to lambermont, the residence of the prime minister where some chaos was created when conflicting the anti-riot police.

A delegation of the workmen met responsibles of the federal and the walloon regional government which both don’t agree the position of ArcelorMittal, according a press release from the prime minister.

Due to the announce of closure of big parts of steel factory ArcelorMittal in Liege scrapping 1300 people, trade unions and workmen decided to show politicians they want action. It’s very doubtfull of such actions, remembering the miners marches on Brussels 30 years ago will change the determination of the biggest world steel player.
