Bosnia and Herzegovina reception Decemebr 17, 2025

His Excellency Ambassador Obrad Kesic organized a magnificent reception at the end of 2025 for the Holiday Season.
This was attended by numerous Ambassadors.
It was an opportunity to showcase the gastronomy and excellent wines.

Tourism in Bosnia and Herzegovina offers a blend of historic cities (Sarajevo, Mostar), breathtaking nature (Kravica waterfalls, the Una River, mountains for skiing/hiking), unique cultural heritage (Medjugorje, stone villages like Blagaj), and gastronomy, with designated minefield warning areas requiring caution. Main activities include urban exploration, outdoor sports (rafting, skiing), wine tourism (Žilavka and Blatina grapes), and visits to religious and architectural sites.
Sarajevo : Capitale historique et culturelle, avec sa vieille ville (Baščaršija), ses sites olympiques (Jahorina, Bjelasnica) et les montagnes environnantes (Trebević).
Mostar : Célèbre pour son pont historique (Stari Most) et son ambiance balkanique.
Herzégovine : Région plus méridionale, connue pour ses villages en pierre (Blagaj, Počitelj), les cascades de Kravica et la rivière Buna.
Jajce : Ville médiévale avec une belle cascade en plein centre.
Travnik : Ville natale d'Ivo Andrić, offrant un charme authentique.
