The EU top diplomat Federica Mogherini convenes an extraordinary meeting of the Political and Security Committee on Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) on 14th August.

Following her talks in Manila, in the margins of the ASEAN Regional Forum, with the Korean Foreign Minister, Kang Kyung-wa, US Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, Chinese Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, Australian Foreign Minister, Julie Bishop, and the Foreign Ministers of ASEAN countries, the High Representative and Vice President Federica Mogherini has decided to convene an extraordinary meeting of the Political and Security Committee on Monday 14 August to discuss possible next steps on the situation in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
