Kabul: EU for reconciliation

afghan-women

Aghanistan has once again been targeted by two despicable attacks, one in Kabul near the Parliament building and the other in Kandahar, which have left dozens of innocent people dead and many others injured.

Our thoughts are with the families of those who have been killed, and we wish those who have been injured a speedy recovery.

Peace and reconciliation, and the functioning of the institutions are of the utmost importance for a stable Afghanistan.

The European Union stands by the Afghan authorities and calls on all Afghans to stay united in support of our combined efforts to fight this global threat of terrorism.
