The XXI International Triennale opened to an enthusiastic public on 2nd April, packed with exhibitions, events and cultural debates involving the entire city of Milan, acknowledged, yet again, as the international capital of culture and design.

Now that last year’s EXPO is over, Milan is once again the design hub of home living, of a new human community. In the city – after a 20-year gap – the XXI Triennale is firmly focused on the present. A present to be understood, discovered and interpreted through the eyes of globalisation and the changes facing contemporary society. 21st Century. Design After Design: the story continues, changes and renews in a citywide event.

The Salone del Mobile.Milano, a benchmark for the culture of design, also plays a pivotal role with its great exhibition on interior architecture, curated by Beppe Finessi: Rooms. Novel Living Concepts. An exploration of the present day and the future. 11 authors of different generations, vocabularies and design approaches, each invited to conceive a “room” as a primary living space, for today and tomorrow, which became materially possible thanks to the input of companies within the sector. An exciting journey into the quality that has always marked out Italian design.

The Salone del Mobile.Milano would like to invite you to experience the rediscovery of interior architecture through Rooms. Novel Living Concepts at the Triennale di Milano from 2nd to 12th September 2016.
