On Thursday morning a series of explosions occurred in Jakarta, the Indonesia’s capital. Indonesian President Joko Widodo has defined these explosions as a terrorist act.
Three gunmen entered a Starbucks in the center of the city while other two men entered a police post and it was heard gunfire. Then, two hours later another explosion was heard in a cafe near the Starbucks and after some minutes the police broke into it.
In this terrorist act at least six people were killed, three policemen and three civilians. The Indonesian president said that people shouldn’t be afraid and he hope that the society remains calm. He has also condemned the terrorist act as a violation of peace and freedom.
