Spotlight on fuel cells and hydrogen technologies #energy #europe

Fuel cell electric vehicles hold a great potential in terms of decarbonisation, reducing road noises, power production, reducing energy imports and optimisation of renewables usage.

For the first time, a major workshop has been organised during the TEN-T days  (European Programme for heavy infrastructure “Connecting Europe” (CEF)), entirely dedicated to fuel cells and hydrogen mobility. It emphasised the technology readiness and allowed to further prepare the market roll-out.

Commissioner for Transport, Ms Violota Bulc and Mayor of Riga, Mr Nils Ušakovs, were both present on this occasion.
Please find the press release attached and a selection of pictures of the workshop and signature ceremonies.
