Campaign for financing The Accessible Gallery #art #brussels

TAG (The Accessible Gallery) has proposed a new programme for financing the process of art’s democratisation. They want to make art accessible to everybody, even if they are professionals or just amateurs. In order to reach that, TAG has come up with the idea of making a participatory campaign that is supposed to engage a wider audience than the usual art suspects.

But, why do we need this capaing? In fact, the art has been always reserved to people rich enough, due to its really expensive prices. That means that not all the artists have the possibility and the place to show their work, and neither all the public has the possibility to afford these expenditures. However, The Accessible Gallery, with its proposition “Démocratisons l’Art Contemporain !” (generalize the contemporary art!), wants to finish with that. For achieving this objective, they have created a communication plan that will let them spread these ideas to a larger audience.

Moreover, they are convinced that humour would be the graetest way to end with this stereotype, because it could help the public to change its perception of contemporary art. That is the reason why they have diffused their new message “ART IS also FUN”.

You could find this campaign looking for KissKissBankBank till the 15th of July 2015.
