It’s russian national day ! Russia, or more correctly called the Russian Federation, with around 17,098,242 square kilometers (that is equivalent to the ninth part of the Earth’s land surface) is the biggest country over the globe.

This semi-presidential Republic with capital in Moscow, borders with the largest number of countries occupying the entire northern Asia and almost the half of Europe. It has eleven different time zones.

Nowadays, with a globally integrated economy it is a market based on exports as it has the largest minerals and energy resources’ reserves in the world. Therefore, the country has a great experience on technological sectors such as atomic energy or aerospace industry.
