There is a new Ambassador of Papua New Guinea in Belgium.

 

Mr. Joshua R. Kalinoe has an outstanding career in the world of business.

Mr. Joshua R. Kalinoe, CSM, CBE served as the Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director and Executive Director of Petromin PNG Holdings Limited. He served as the Chief Secretary to Government and Secretary, Department of Prime Minister and NEC until his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of Petromin in March 2007. He has held senior managerial line positions in both the public and private sectors, including General Manager of Corporate and Government Affairs at PNG Halla Cement Limited and Company Secretary, Stettin Bay Lumber Company Limited. He was a Lecturer in the Business Economics program prior to joining the public service in 1995 as Secretary of the Department of Commerce and Industry. Mr. Kalinoe serves as a Member of the Air Niugini Board. He served as Ramu Sugar Limited, Hargy Oil Palm Limited, Bank of PNG and the Investment Promotion Authority. Mr. Kalinoe has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Bond University, Queensland, Australia. He is also a graduate in Economics from UPNG.
