Russian Cultural Fridays go Golden Hohloma, 19^th of September 2014, as from 18.00 @Aloft

 

The days are getting shorter, and winter is just around the corner, but don’t hide inside.  The weekend starts at 6pm in the cozy lobby of the Aloft hotel.

Come warm your heart after a hard week with a free shot of authentic Russian vodka.

Nibble on zakuskis with globetrotting Russians, Eurocrats, expats, Belgian professionals, creatives, international “friendsetters” based in Brussels and explore the vibrant culture to the soundtrack of the renowned DJ Goldfinger!

We start our new season with a short presentation of a special guest from Russia, Director of Development of the World-famous “Golden Hohloma” Factory. Golden Hohloma is a bright phenomenon of Russian traditional folk arts. The khokhloma handicraft became to be known as early as the XVII century in Nizhegorodsky region. Traditionally Khokhloma items were produced in the monasteries and were designed primarily for the Tsar’s Court.

Till late night dance with us and disco in ‘Russian Style’ with DJ Goldfinger, from Amsterdam!
