This thursday, during the Africa 2014 reception of the African Union, a farewell was prononced to H.E. Ambassador Félix-Kodjo SAGBO, dean of the African Diplomatic Corps.
Ambassador Félix-Kodjo SAGBO is the Togo Ambassador to Belgium, the Netherlands, the Grand-Duchy of Luxemburg and the Vatican State. He is also head of the Mission of Togo to the European Union. He was for 10 years in Belgium
Feix SAGBO is also a former minister in his own country and a former Ambassador of Togo in Nigeria.
Ambassador Sagbo received the certificate “Providing Leadership as Chairperson of the OAU/AU 50th Anniversary Committee” from the African Union and on the cristal was written “H.E. Felix Kodjo SAGBO, Ambassador of the Republic of TOGO and Dean of the African Diplomatic Corps, with the very best wishes of the African Group of Ambassadors and the permanent mission of the African Union in Brussels”
Ambassador Sagbo overhanded a beautiful painting of Nelson Mandela to H.E. Ajay Brandéau, Permanent Ambassador of the African Union,. This painting was offered to the representant of the African Union by Faure Gnassingbé, president of the Republic of Togo.
Ambassador Sagbo addressed the audience a vibrant en impressive message of goodbye.
