H.E. Mgr Giacinto BERLOCO, nuncio to the King of Belgium gave a reception this week at the Musées Royaux d’Arts et d’Histoire to receive all the friends and connections of the Holy See.

The Holy See has been recognized, as a subject of public international law, with rights and duties analogous to those of States. The Vatican, a landlocked sovereign city-state of has an area of approximately 44 hectares (110 acres), and a population of around 840. This makes Vatican City the smallest internationally recognized independent state in the world by both area and population.
