AN EVENING OF MUSICAL EXCELLENCE

Bozar

The Queen Elisabeth Musical Chapel is organising a Prelude concert on March 11th at Bozar.

More than a school, it is a musical laboratory for the future young talents from all over the world at international level and a center of artistic excellence. The future young talents meet there and receive their education from  a “Maître de Chapelle”, such as Augustin Dumay, José Van Dam, Maria Joao Pires, Abdel Raman El Bacha, Gary Hoffman…

The foundation celebrates this year its 75 years, and organizes soon a concert associating the young confirmed talents and their illustrious elder peer, but nevertheless teachers. Thus, the baritone Jose Van Dam will conduct his young singing students and they shall interpret famous operatic arias (Verdi, Mozart, Tchaikowski, Puccini, Bizet, a.o. …). As this one says so well: ” it is magnificent thanks to the vocal techniques which are taught, to create of every student a unique musical instrument “.

In collaboration with the National Orchestra of Belgium conducted by Patrick Fournillier. For any further information about the evening or the program: www.musicchapel.org or www.bozar.be
