BFAST INTERVENTION IN KINSHASA (CONGO)

bfast SAR_0.jpg.crop_display.jpgFollowing the collapse of a hotel building this morning in Kinshasa and the evidence that the victims are caught in the rubble, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Belgium Didier Reynders, decided to operate, on behalf of the Belgian government, the  BeFast assistance mechanism for which the possibilities of intervention are being considered.

Upon confirmation of the usefulness of the device, the BeFast team will be able to take off to Kinshasa this monday night

It goes without saying that the team will be deployed onde a formal request of the Congolese authorities is received by the belgian ministry of foreign affairs.
