ALPINE RENAULT ELMS: WINNING REBIRTH OF A LEGENDARY BRAND
Alpine Renault, the legendary sports car brand of the Renault group is back this year with a win in the European Le Mans Series Championship.
35 years after the victory of Pironi/Jossaud at Le Mans with the Alpine Renault A442 V6, Alpine Renault wanted to organise the rebirth of the legendary sports car created in Rouen.

The European Le Mans series and the category LMP2 were the nest for this rebirth in 2013. The Alpine Renault A450 LMP2 is this year powered by a Nissan Engine and the experienced Signatech team is running the car.
A succesfull rebirth with drivers Pierre Ragues and Nelson Panciatici. The team finished 9th in the LMP2 category at LeMans 24hours and won the race at Le Castellet.
The Alpine Renault Signatech Team also won the 2013 European Le mans Series Championship and drivers Pierre Ragues and Nelson Panciatici are both 2013 European Le Mans Series champions !
