William-Alexander, 46 years old, is the new king of the Netherlands since this tuesday  10.10 am (08.10am GMT)  after Queen Beatrix resigned. He is the first king since 1890 and he also will be replaced by a woman, Princess Catharina-Amalia.

He is married to argentinian Maxima Zorroguieta and they have three children:

Catharina-Amalia, born in 2003; Alexia born in 2005 and Ariane born in 2007
