The beautiful Douro was present on the tables

For the closure of the year of flavors in Brussels, the Horeca Federation and its President, Mr. Yan Roque, prepared a great  Gala Dinner yesterday where belgian politicians as well as diplomats from the 27 member states were present. This event took place in the very mythic Palais Egmont, Brussels.
During the Conference, issues related to the future of the Horeca sector were put on the table. 4 students management engineering  of  «Solvay – Haute École de Commerce» about the black boxes and the consequences of their introduction in the Belgian Horeca sector.
At the Gala Dinner, Portugal was represented by the presence of its wines: Monte da Ravasqueira (Alentejo) and Poças Júnior (Douro) ; while France brought its champagne Jeeper. The meal wassigned by the `2 ** Michelin´ Chef Yves Mattagne. The catering was be provided by Gourmet Events and the service done by «École Hôtelière du CERIA» and coordinated by the catering enterprise.
This commendable initiative brought different worlds and sectors together.
