MILITARY AGREEMENT IN CENTRAL EUROPE

MARCH.07.2013 – Ministries of Defence of the Visegrad countries signed a new agreement.

4 countries: Poland, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic and Hungary signed an agreement to create a common defense unit at last in 2016 to ensure common missions of peace keeping of conflict preventing abroad.

President Hollande and german chancellor Angela Merkel were also present at this meeting of the Visegrad group. We remember these 3 countries (Tchecoslovakia was then one country) were already working together during the communist period in the “Pact of Warsaw”-agreement. Now times have changed and Poland will deliver the most military forces (1000 on 2000) in these operations which will be coordinated with the European Union
