MARCH.06.2013 – European liberal and democrats from the EP and beyond  launched the ALDE gender equality network at the Cercle de Lorraine today.

The alliance for liberals and democrats for Europe party chaired by Graham Watson MEP launched the ALDE gender equality network. The promotion of women’s rights is needed to ensure gender equality in economic, social and political life.

Starting fro; their own approach, the very intresting speakers developped solutions to promote man-woman equality.

The listeners could hear Sir Graham Watson MEP; Flo Clucas OBE, president of the ALDE gender equality network; Virginja Langbakk, director of the Institute for gender equality; and afterwards a discussion panel followed with Marion Lemesre, member of the brussels regional parliament; Olie Schmidt MEP ane Ellen Madeker, from the german FDP.
