The Martinique Tourism Committee is pleased to announce the increased frequency of MSC
Cruises to Martinique for the winter season 2013‐2014
MSC Cruises is to return to the Caribbean from the 30th November 2013 to the 15th March 2014 for
a total of 16 cruises with the MSC Musica, a vessel with a much greater capacity than last season,
boasting 1 266 cabins (more than 65% of which have balconies).
Departure is from Fort‐de‐France in Martinique on Tuesdays, or from Pointe‐à‐Pitre in Guadeloupe
on Wednesdays for an 8 day cruise (7 nights) with stops at several other Caribbean Islands:
Philipsburg in Saint Martin, Road Town in Tortola (British Virgin Islands), Santo Domingo and La
Romana in the Dominican Republic, and Saint‐John’s in Antigua / Barbados.
Karine Roy‐Camille, President of the Martinique Tourism Committee, said “It is with real pride that
Martinique welcomes the return of cruise companies. To see a company such as MSC Cruises run 16
cruises through the winter season confirms their renewed interest”.
As Erminio Eschena, Director General of MSC Cruises in France, Belgium and Luxembourg stated in
the magazine Le Quotidien du Tourisme: “Our first season in the Caribbean proved to be excellent
and exceeded our expectations”.
