FEB.19.2013 – Art Karksruhe, a very important art fair came to Brussels to present itself.

Karlsruhe is an important city of Baden-Wurtemberg near to the french border. Art Karlsruhe is an art fair that exists already for 10 years and this year the motto is “With a passion for art.”

Karlsruhe Messe hopes to receive 48000 visitors for this year’s edition. 220 exhibitors coming from 13 countries will be present.

These exhibitors were selected by the curator Ewald Karl Schrade and the event’s advisory council from the wide circle of applicants. The galleries with the most outstanding stand concepts were chosen. They will be presenting their program ib 200 one-artist shows and 21 sculpture zones.

This year particularly, there will be a special exhibition with photographs by Gisèle Freund from the collection of the luxemburg art collector Marita Ruiter; also the Artima art meeting series hosted by the well-known art journalist Hands-Joachim Müller and the Karlsruhe art prize will be awarded for the best one-artist show.
