EU PRESIDENCY: IRELAND OPENS ITS ARMS
JAN 29th 2013 – Since 1st of january 2013, Ireland is the president of the European Union. It’s every 6th months an occasion for each country to print its own mark on the EU-policy.

The Irish presidency is not limited to EU officials and politicians. This year, Ireland wanted to open its arms to lots of european citizens and created the program “the gathering”
The idea is to create lots of events for irishmen but also expats from Ireland and people of irish descent all over the world, to bring everyone to Ireland for lots of events (music, theatre, poems, folk, …). And every european citizen can also create its events and gather people who really love Ireland.
The European Union is more than institutions. it’s also the occasion to bring real people together.
