The organization Wikileaks is in possession of official documents on the operation in Libya organised by european forces. The goal was to hit the smugglers to and stop the exodus by actions on the ground.

The disclosed documents reveal a military mission in Libya, not a police operation to rescue migrants, as said by the italian Minister of internal affairs Angelino Alfano (Nuovo Centrodestra) and Renzi’s (PD) government.

This confidential document has been published by WikiLeaks last night and could undermine the EU’s position and relevance in this military operation
